DFP Trustee Recruitment

Dementia Friendly Pentlands recruits Charity Trustees

Would you be interested in joining a wonderful Charity, powered by a group of dedicated people?

Dementia Friendly Pentlands is a volunteer-led Charity run across the communities of Juniper Green & Baberton, Currie and Balerno. Our vision is that this project will provide support to help people living with dementia and their carers sustain social contacts and activities that are important to them. We also want to provide social outlets for people living with dementia and their carers and specific support to help people to connect to local groups and services.

Our management team is comprised of volunteers with experience and passion. We are looking for someone who will be able to contribute to the growth and success of our Charity.

We are currently seeking Trustees with life skills or business experience to assist with the continuous improvement of our work. Amongst others, vacancies include Treasurer and Secretary.

Whilst being a Trustee is a voluntary position with responsibility for the strategic development of an organisation, it provides a rewarding and satisfying experience.

If interested please respond by Friday September 21st to dementiafriendlypentlands@gmail.com
