Generous Donation from Pentland Medical Centre

Thanks to staff and patients at our wonderful Pentland Medical Centre who have kindly raised £354 for our two local Dementia groups. Those are the Dementia Friendly Pentlands and our monthly café Tuesday’s Tea and Tunes (TTT), which is held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at Gibson Craig Memorial Hall. These funds will make a difference so thanks to each and everyone of you who donated but especially Sharon Kane (Pentland Medical Centre) who organised the collection. If you know someone who is living with Dementia or are a carer or family member who is looking for fun activities please come along to TTT or our sister café The Palm Café you will not be disappointed.

Let's talk about dementia 🗣️

When a family member has dementia, it affects everyone in the family, including children. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 It is important to talk to them about what is happening.

Here is a great video by Dementia UK about dementia for children and young people. 🎞️
